LOCATION

Nestled in the heart of Porters Lake on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, just 30 minutes from Halifax, our haven for wellness is housed in a charming 100-year-old hall that has always been a community cornerstone—a place where people gather to celebrate, learn, and connect. From its beginnings as a schoolhouse and church hall, it remains a space rich with history and heart.

We believe that healing thrives in community. The pandemic pushed many of us inward, taking on healing in solitude, and with mental health challenges on the rise, now is the time to embrace collective healing. At Kinfolk, we are proud to offer multidisciplinary wellness services that cater to all backgrounds and stages of life, supporting you wherever you are on your journey.

Honouring the ancestral roots of the Eastern Shore community.

Kinfolk Haven Wellness Centre acknowledges that we are located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. As a space rooted in healing, connection, and care, we honour the Mi’kmaq as the original stewards of this land and recognize their enduring relationship with the Earth and waters of the Eastern Shore. We are grateful to live, learn, and offer our work within Mi’kma’ki.
